SCOTT SUTTON

Originally from Knott County, Kentucky, Scott now calls Hyden, Kentucky, home. He discovered his passion for the banjo at just nine years old, under the guidance of his cousin Ray Slone, a math teacher and fiddle player, who gave him his first taste of stage performance. Influenced heavily by other family, and legends like Earl Scruggs, J.D. Crowe, and Terry Baucom. Scott has played with several bands and on many stages in his 42-year career. The Creekers are a very talented, fresh and exciting journey for Scott, as he shares his experience and awesome banjo skills with this young band. He really enjoys the vibe they have both on and off the stage.
